We are seeking a skilled Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional interpersonal and IT skills, as it involves interactions with staff, students, external stakeholders, and parents. The successful candidate will also deputise for the Admin Manager during their absence.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Organise and prepare Annual Reviews and the 3-monthly reviews for new students.
  • Fulfil core operational duties of the SEN administrative role, including maintaining up-to-date SEND student record data and pupil folders, and completing records for SEND reviews.
  • Distribute regular information to staff, parents/carers, Local Authorities, and external agencies.
  • Liaise with teaching staff, link schools, parents, the Local Authority, and external stakeholders to collect relevant SEND information.
  • Perform administrative duties, including covering reception, answering the reception phone, and assisting the admin team, mainly outside of term time.
  • Support the Lead SENCO.
  • Oversee data entry onto the Behaviour Watch system.
  • Manage fleet and student bursaries.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (essential).
  • Experience with the Annual review process (essential).
  • Qualifications in Administration (essential).
  • Minimum Level 2 Qualifications in Maths and English (essential).
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (essential).
  • Experience of SEND Framework (desirable).
  • Experience working in an Education setting (desirable).
