Reed Accountancy are working exclusively with a global organisation seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Assistant to support a busy finance function during a period of high workload.
This role has been created to provide hands-on administrative support to the Accounts Receivable Lead, helping to improve processes and reduce backlog. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, supporting customer account management, and assisting with daily AR operations.
This role is expected to start on Monday 8th June with an expected length of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
Performing credit checks on new and existing customers
Supporting cash allocation and accurate posting of receipts
Managing and responding to customer queries via the AR inbox
Assisting in resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
Maintaining and updating customer master data in SAP
Inputting and transferring customer data from systems such as Experian and Salesforce into SAP
Providing general administrative support to the AR Specialist
Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams and customers
Basic Excel skills
Comfortable handling data entry and administrative finance tasks
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is desirable but not essential
Working Hours
Standard hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch), but flexible working patterns are available
Options to spread hours across the week or work condensed days, maximum of 25 hours per week
Hybrid working available with initial training period in the office
