We are seeking an Accounts Manager to join a dynamic and fast-moving business. This role is crucial for supporting the finance function in a busy and ever-changing environment. You will be instrumental in managing payroll, invoicing, and the financial operations of multiple live projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
Prepare payroll data for circa 70 PAYE staff, ensuring accuracy before submission to the external accountant.
Collate working hours and input into job sheets for payment and invoicing purposes.
Manage a mix of payment terms across multiple projects.
Prepare information for and support the submission of VAT returns.
Handle attachments of earnings orders (AEOs).
Process employee expenses, including fuel costs and other project-related claims.
Produce quotes for new clients and incoming work.
Coordinate accommodation bookings (e.g. Airbnb) for project teams.
Arrange and manage logistics such as hire vehicles and other operational requirements.
Support day-to-day finance operations across rehearsals, test builds, and live work.
Maintain strict confidentiality, especially when working on sensitive or high-profile projects.
Use Sage to manage financial records and reporting.
Provide flexible support to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in an Accounts Manager or similar finance role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes.
Proficiency in using Sage is essential.
Highly organised with the ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced workloads.
Flexible approach to work with a willingness to support wider business needs.
Proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
