Reed Accountancy Norwich are delighted to be working on a retained basis with a rapidly growing business known for innovation and quality products in Norwich to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are expanding their finance team to support operational growth and maintain robust financial processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to develop their career in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
Managing supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
Raising and posting sales invoices.
Supporting credit control activities and monitoring aged debt.
Processing employee expenses and ensuring compliance with policies.
Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Maintenance and monitoring of website orders and purchases.
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers and customers.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Confident communicator, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
