We are currently supporting a business in Littlehampton who require an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis to support the business through a particularly busy period.
This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who can hit the ground running.
Key Duties:
High‑volume processing of purchase invoices
Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts
Ensuring correct approvals and accurate coding
Assisting with payment runs
Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
Responding to internal and supplier finance queries
Supporting month‑end finance processes
General finance and accounting support as required
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role
Proven high‑volume purchase ledger experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Organised, reliable, and able to work well in a busy environment
Available for an immediate start
