We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join a busy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a small team, supporting a range of financial and property functions while ensuring accurate processing of data and documentation.
The successful candidate must be a driver with access to their own vehicle, as the role may involve occasional travel for business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Scan invoices, create transactions, code and submit for authorisation
Support data entry tasks related to financial transactions and record keeping
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Sage, Xero and Excel.
Manage and update financial data within internal systems
Reconcile accounts and prepare reports for internal review
Requirements
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
Proficiency in accounting software including Excel, Sage and Xero
Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience with accounts payable and financial record management
Full UK driving licence
Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work purposes
Ability to adapt to different systems, processes, and business needs
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
