We are supporting a well-established organisation in Altrincham with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities
Processing high volumes of sales invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
Managing customer queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently
Monitoring aged debt and supporting credit control activities to optimise cash collection
Maintaining and updating customer account records within the finance system
Assisting with the preparation of regular financial reports
Supporting month-end processes including reconciliations and accruals
Providing general finance support and assisting with ad hoc duties when required
Requirements
Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
Proficient Excel skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
