They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Group Finance division in Glasgow. This role is pivotal in managing and ensuring the accuracy of payments to their client base.
What You'll Be Doing:
Financial Responsibilities: From generating timely statements to ensuring compliance with VAT and tax legislation, your role is crucial in maintaining financial integrity
Interpreting Contracts: You'll dive deep into contracts, ensuring you understand and apply the rules and calculations accurately
Resolving Queries: Whether it's contracts, sales, or rates, you'll be the go-to person for resolving these issues efficiently
Record Maintenance: Keeping records meticulous is key to smooth operations
Compliance and Security: You'll ensure all tasks align with SOX and audit controls and uphold data security in compliance with GDPR
Support and Collaboration: Beyond your daily tasks, you'll assist in project work and system updates, contributing to team efforts and improvements
