Account Manager
- Contract: 15 month fixed term contract
- Location: Bournemouth (Office-Based)
- Salary: £25,000 + Uncapped Commission (£5 per confirmed contract)
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Retention & Upselling team. This role is ideal for a confident communicator with a passion for sales and customer engagement, offering the potential for long-term career development.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Call existing customers on a daily basis.
- Promote and upsell services such as Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR), Food Waste Collection, WEEE Waste, Confidential Waste, Feminine Hygiene & Washroom Services, and Carbon Offset Options.
- Use tailored templates to deliver persuasive value propositions to increase customer satisfaction and lifetime value.
- Follow up with undecided clients via calls, emails, or SMS to close deals.
- Accurately record all interactions and outcomes in the CRM.
- Attend weekly performance reviews and feedback sessions to enhance sales techniques.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout all interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telesales or outbound calling.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to handle objections and close deals.
- Energetic, resilient, and target-driven personality.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of recycling or environmental services.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Familiarity with upselling and cross-selling techniques.
