This essential module introduces you to the fundamental aspects of organizational management and helps you understand how the finance function facilitates the creation and preservation of value within the organization.

By completing this module, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the role that finance plays within organisations and how it interacts with technology, data and information. Completing the CIMA Level 7 Professional Qualification typically takes 3 years, with each exam, including E1, taking 3 months to complete on average.
You must have already completed all four subjects in the Certificate in Business Accounting before enrolling on this course.
AAT-qualified candidates, and those with a relevant degree may be exempt from the Certificate in Business Accounting and can begin the course at the Operational Level.

For the CIMA E1 module (Managing Finance in a Digital World), learners are assessed through:
Objective Test (OT): A computer-based exam that includes multiple-choice, multiple-response, drag-and-drop, and other objective question formats.
Exam Duration: 90 minutes.
Passing Mark: 70%.
This is a standalone exam for E1, and there are no additional assessments or coursework requirements for this module.
