For LGBTQ+ co-members and allies, this theme is a celebration of authenticity. We are openly saying – you belong here, fully and unapologetically.

Introducing fReedom: Our new LGBTQ+ Resource hub for co-members This year, we’re especially proud to announce the launch of fReedom – a brand-new internal hub created to house all our LGBTQ+ content in one vibrant, accessible space. fReedom is your go-to destination for everything from learning resources and allyship guides to personal stories, pride event details and supportive networks. Whether you're exploring your identity, seeking advice or simply looking to understand more – you can access fReedom how and when you need it. Its more than a library – it’s a living, breathing reflection of our LGBTQ+ community at Reed, and a testament to our commitment to inclusion that extends far beyond Pride month.

“2025 has already been a difficult year for marginalised people, and this includes the LGBTQ+ Community. This year the UK dropped to its lowest position ever (22nd) on the ILGA-Europe ranking of the best and worst places to be LGBTQ+ in Europe. fReedom was born not from a want to shout about who we are, but from a responsibility to provide educational resources, share the experiences of our co-members, and provide access to much needed support. We spend more of our waking time at work than anywhere else, so it is vital that our co-members feel safe, supported and able to succeed this Pride Month and all year round.”

How we are celebrating Pride 2025 This June as we do every June, across Reed co-members are coming together to celebrate Pride in exciting empowering ways:

Pride @ Reed Sales day – Arguably one of our most vibrant sales days across the year, our recruitment teams and support teams don their bright and beautiful outfits to represent the Pride rainbow flag, indulge in some pride themed cupcakes and treats and really create a party atmosphere. We love this sales day and I'm sure the lip sync battle following the day is just the icing on the cake 😉

Allyship in action - A first for this year is that the LGBTQ+ group will be linking up with our other EDIB groups such as Race, Religion & Ethnicity, Age, Gender and Ability to openly discuss what opportunities and challenges face those whose identities overlap.

Over the course of the month, we will be hearing from real voices with real stories, reminding is that representation and visibility truly matter. Pride month is a moment – but at Reed, our commitment to inclusion is constant. The launch of fReedom, the voices we uplift, and the space we create for all identities to thrive are part of something much bigger.
