Delegates travelled from offices all around the UK, from as far north as Aberdeen right down to southern coastal towns such as Brighton to celebrate with colleagues.

In London, lunch was hosted by Tom Lovell , Managing Director for RSR and Roger Mason, Head of Learning and Development.

In Birmingham celebrations were led by Chief HR Officer, Ian Nicholas and Learning and Development Manager Lucy Buckland.

Posting on LinkedIn on the day of the event, Head of L&D, Roger Mason said

“Congratulations to all those who graduated from the Reed Recruitment Academy today, what a fab bunch you are… Today we had 38 Co-Members receive their certificates at award events in London and Birmingham…Well done everyone!”

Committed to Learning and Development

Any consultant starting at Reed Specialist Recruitment can expect the very best in industry training. The Recruitment Academy typically takes around three years to complete, with five core courses (Essential Recruitment Skills 1-5) with a range of other specialist and optional training on offer too.

REED is committed to delivering unequalled levels of industry training and all our courses take full advantage of our amazing Learning and Development teams, as well as our unique resource of the Reed Business School; a beautiful manor house in the heart of the Cotswolds where Co-Members enjoy their residential training courses. The Business School is also used as the location for our Graduate Training Scheme and Undergraduate Placement Year inductions.

Just One of Many Rewards

REED loves its people and in addition to unrivalled training, industry-recognised qualifications and competitive compensation, we also have a range of benefits which our colleagues love to shout about; make sure to explore #RewardsAtREED to find out more.

With such high quality training and such committed consultants working hard to deliver results for REED clients and candidates, it is also important that REED rewards its top performers. Our transparent Career Development Framework and clearly defined commission structures for consultants means promotions, pay-rises and bonuses are given as a direct result of delivering results… We also host an annual High Achievers event for the very top performers at Reed Specialist Recruitment.

Aspiring Managers

For consultants and other key Co-Members throughout REED who demonstrate the ability to deliver results in their area of expertise, whilst also displaying aptitude for people management, there is the Management Academy, which you can read more about here or watch the video below, which includes footage from the aforementioned Reed Business School.
