Site Manager

  • Location: South Tyneside 
  • Shifts: Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Day Rate: £200–£300 

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a roofing project in South Tyneside. This role is initially for 4 weeks, with the potential to extend to 8 weeks or beyond. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the site operations for the roofing project, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
  • Manage site resources, equipment, and staff to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and other professional staff.
  • Regularly report project status to senior management.
  • Handle any onsite issues that might arise during the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification.
  • 3-day First Aid qualification.
  • Black or Gold CSCS card.
  • Temporary Works Management qualification.
  • Ability to pass BPSS security clearance (funded by the employer).
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ideally a Level 6 qualification in Construction.
  • Proven experience in site management, preferably in roofing or similar projects.
