Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a roofing project in South Tyneside. This role is initially for 4 weeks, with the potential to extend to 8 weeks or beyond.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee the site operations for the roofing project, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
Manage site resources, equipment, and staff to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors and other professional staff.
Regularly report project status to senior management.
Handle any onsite issues that might arise during the project.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
SMSTS certification.
3-day First Aid qualification.
Black or Gold CSCS card.
Temporary Works Management qualification.
Ability to pass BPSS security clearance (funded by the employer).
Full driving licence.
Ideally a Level 6 qualification in Construction.
Proven experience in site management, preferably in roofing or similar projects.
